Charlie Sheen is reuniting with his (Two and a Half Men) therapist.
The Anger Management star told reporters Tuesday at a Fox party at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour that Jane Lynch will be among the guest stars checking in for season two of his FX comedy Anger Management.
While details are mum on just who the Glee actress will play on the comedy, the casting reunites Sheen and Lynch, who played the therapist to Sheen's Charlie Harper on CBS' Two and a Half Men.
"We've got a lot of good people coming up, but we love her very much," showrunner Bruce Helford added of Lynch's casting.
Among the guest stars already lined up for season two, which returns Jan. 17 with the first of its 90-episode run, are The Voice's Cee Lo Green, rocker Slash and the return of Brett Butler, who started playing the Charlie Goodson's (Sheen) bartender in season one.
"Brett Butler is amazing on the show and she's taken an opportunity we created for her and embraced it wholly, completely and is a thrill to work with," Sheen told THR. "It's cool to have someone of that comedic talent and skill-set as my bartender."
In addition to the notable guests, Martin Sheen joins the cast as a series regular -- playing a role that isn't much of a stretch: father to Charlie Goodson. "There's enough conflict between us that it'll never get old," the younger Sheen told reporters Tuesday.
"He's trying to run Charlie's life the way he wants it to be," Helford said of Martin Sheen's role. The father-son dynamic will pull a reverse of art imitating life when the elder Sheen is going through a bad divorce and begins to act out.
Anger Management returns Jan. 17 on FX.
