The ratings are out for episode 6

[how low can you go, how low can you go, how low can you go]
"Grey's Anatomy" and "Glee" were both down a little compared to last week "The Vampire Diaries" and "Beauty and the Beast" also fell a bit for The CW, but "The X Factor" improved some without "The Voice" airing against it. ABC's "Scandal" was up too.

9 p.m.

CBS: "Person of Interest" (14.5 million, 9.0/14)
ABC: "Grey's Anatomy" (8.7 million, 5.8/9)
FOX: "Glee" (5.3 million, 3.3/5)
NBC: "The Office" (4.15 million, 2.6/4)/"Parks and Recreation" (3.6 million, 2.2/3)
The CW: "Beauty and the Beast" (1.6 million, 1.1/2)

18-49 leader: "Grey's Anatomy" and "Person of Interest" tied at 3.1

CBS 8.8/14
ABC 5.1/ 8
Fox 4.7/ 7
NBC 2.7/ 4
CW 1.7/ 3

-Percent Change from the Year-Ago Evening (Thursday 11/17/11):
CW: +89, CBS: +13, NBC: - 7, ABC: -15, Fox: -25

The Big Bang Theory (CBS), Two and a Half Men (CBS), Person of Interest (CBS)

Honorable Mention:
The X Factor (Fox)

Glee (Fox)

On the Fence:
Last Resort (ABC)

Losers (excluding repeats):
30 Rock (NBC), Up All Night (NBC), The Office (NBC), Parks and Recreation (NBC), Beauty and the Beast (CW), Rock Center With Brian Williams (NBC)

On Fox, respectable The X Factor at 8 p.m. (#2: 5.5/ 9) led into a third-place 3.8/ 6 for tired Glee at 9 p.m., which dipped by 37 percent from the 8:30 p.m. portion of The X Factor (6.0/ 9). Moving from Tuesday to Thursday has not been beneficial. Like any high school based series historically (think Room 222 and The White Shadow, in particular) the obstacle Glee faces is the aging “kids.” It might be time for the series to officially graduate this spring.
