It’s Artie Abrams’ (Kevin McHale) senior year, and it’s about time that the guy had someone special in his life again. So, is there any romance in store for Artie in Glee Season 4? Wetpaint Entertainment spoke exclusively with Kevin McHale at a Young Storytellers Foundation event on October 20, and he told us that while nothing has been filmed yet, he’s definitely heard rumors of what’s to come in Artie’s love life.

Any news in the romance department for Artie?
Romance department? Ugh!

That doesn’t sound good!
No I know, this season has been stunted, man! You know they hinted at the whole Sugar-Artie thing so I’m thinking that has a real possibility of circling back around.

What is Artie’s part in Grease?
He’s directing it and he needs some help so he gets to recruit some familiar faces to come and help.

How closely did you work with the seniors who come back for Grease?
Pretty closely, which was great! It was a blast and it was like deja-vu, it felt like they hadn’t left.

What is it like getting to work with everyone again now that they’re back for Thanksgiving?
We’re in the middle of it right now, we just started. It’s currently great, it’s currently fantastic!

Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) hasn’t been at the forefront of Glee so far this season, but that seems to be changing during these next couple of episodes. Not only will Beiste offer some relationship advice and counseling to Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays), but she’ll also have scenes on the football field with Glee newcomer Ryder (Blake Jenner).

Wetpaint Entertainment spoke exclusively with Dot-Marie at a Young Storytellers Foundation event on October 20, and she gave us a couple of tease about what’s to come.

How much have you worked with Blake Jenner? What is his relationship with Coach Beiste like?
Blake I worked with on Episode 5, which will air on November 8th and we’re on
the football field.

We’ve heard that Ryder will struggle with dyslexia, does Beiste help him out with that, does he open up about it?
Not yet.

We’ve heard that Beiste might be acting as a sort of counselor for Will and Emma. What sort of advice does she give them?
I can’t tell you that, but Beiste is very knowledgeable based on her relationship
last season.
Iqbal Theba (Principal Figgins): Get more intimate!
Dot-Marie Jones: Yeah! Ba-donk-de-donk!

Anything new with your domestic violence storyline?
No nothing, nothing. Nothing yet, we don’t know until we get the scripts what’s
coming up.
